We offer 3 different programs: the Fundamental, the Intermediate, and Advanced.

Each program offers 2 types of classes: 1.5 hours or 2 hours of classroom instruction. Classes are offered once a week and participants can choose to enroll for a duration of either one month or three months.

Please note that the material fees are included for all programs.

1) Fundamental

Age range: 4 years to 10 years of age

Grades: Kindergarten to Grade 4

In a warm, fun, and friendly environment, students will tap into their creativity and refine their artistic ability through various materials, media, and techniques. Knowledgeable instructors will teach students the fundamental theories of art, including shape, form, patterns, light theory, and the application of colour theory.

2) Intermediate

Age range: 10 years to 14 years of age

Grades: Grade 5 to Grade 8

Using the concepts and techniques learned in the Fundamental Art Program, students will learn to apply these theories to their own artwork. Instructors will help to enlighten students in using their imagination and inspirations in their artwork.

The Intermediate Art Program will also teach students how to draw or paint with perspectives. An introduction to life drawing will also be taught to students.

3) Advanced

Age range: 14 years and older

Grades: Grade 9 and above

The Advanced Art Program is designed for aspiring artists to master the artistic techniques taught in the previous programs. This program will encourage students to research renowned artists, and to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of their works and styles. Above all, this program will help students develop their unique artistic style and to encourage self-confidence. This program will also prepare students for the challenging nature of university and college programs, as well as any potential artistic career students may choose.

This program is designed for students who need to create an outstanding and contemporary portfolio for admission into a post-secondary program. Students will learn how to artistically and professionally build their portfolio. Suggestions and advice will be given regarding which pieces to include in their portfolio. Since this program is geared towards assisting students in gaining admission into their chosen post-secondary programs, interview techniques and project presentation strategies will also be taught.

Classes are 2 hours in duration. A fee of $145 plus HST will be charged for 4 lessons.

We are offering an after school program to all interested students. This after school program will also offer tutoring in different subjects, including English, math, art, Mandarin, and French.

1) A monthly fee of $200 plus HST will be charged for students to use the studio after school to complete their daily homework.

2) For parents who do not wish to send their child(ren) to the studio on a monthly basis, a fee of $15 plus HST per day will apply.

3) If parents are interested in enrolling their child(ren) in tutoring, an additional fee of $20 plus HST per class, per subject area will apply.

This program is designed for mature students who have a passion for art and design and would like to expand their skills, techniques, and knowledge. The Adult Workshop will include instruction on a variety of topics, techniques, and artistic software including Maya, portrait, Photoshop, Illustrator, gesture drawings, acrylic, Chinese painting, and water colour painting. Classes are offered on weeknights, Saturdays, and Sundays only. A fee of $35 plus HST will apply for every 2 hours class.
